Project management

Why Project management?

Complex building projects present a high risk potential for the client. Through the experience of similar projects, the project management can help to minimize risks, optimize processes and avoid errors. Problems are recognized at an early stage and effective counter-measures are taken.

In the last two decades, project management has established itself as a specialized service in the construction industry. When managing more complex building projects, project management takes on tasks which, according to the classical understanding, would have to be performed by the client. The participation of a professional project management is useful for the following reasons:

Expertise:
Clients are often not building professionals. As a rule, they are confronted with the "exceptional situation" building project.

Time:
The builder usually has to cope with the construction project in addition to his main task.

Complexity:
The technical, functional, economic and design aspects are difficult to survey and control.

Transparency:
The responsibility of the client for the success of the project is reflected in the fact that all decisions and measures must be transparent and also retrospectively comprehensible. Cost-effectiveness and timeliness: The client is responsible for the project. If the project fails due to a cost overshoot, a delayed completion, or a defective building is built, the project will bear the consequences. In order to meet the responsibility as a builder and the building task itself, more and more customers are choosing a loyal external expert to help them with their implementation. This applies equally to public as well as to private construction projects.
